The coin portrays a wedge-tailed eagle gilded in 24-carat gold. The soaring raptor appears on a background featuring geometrically arranged elements that suggest a sunburst. As well as the inscriptions ‘AUSTRALIAN WEDGE-TAILED EAGLE’ and ‘10TH ANNIVERSARY’, the reverse includes a ‘P125’ mintmark signifying The Perth Mint’s 125th anniversary in 2024. Also included is the coin’s weight, purity, and year-date.
The coin is housed in a classic display case within an illustrated shipper and accompanied by a numbered Certificate of Authenticity.
