2022 marks the year of the Tiger and is believed to pack opportunities and energy for the Tigers.
As a natural leader and the largest of the cat species, the powerful tiger is charismatic and leads with vigour and authority. It is thus said that if one is born in the Year of the Tiger, they are blessed with a wide circle of friends. With a hunger for victory, the Tiger thrives in competition and is looked upon favourably for success.
When matched with the majestic dragon that symbolises luck and auspicious connotations, this piece is a showcase of immense power and strength. Both creatures snarl and lunge fearlessly from the reverse, their surreal forms leaping away from the surface. The grained finish of the tiger’s body contrasts with the lines that define the dragon’s scales, representing the magnificent form of the two in splendid detail.
Measuring 80mm in diameter, this piece is double the size of the regular 2oz coin. This is made possible with a new minting technique called “Bi-Metal Plus”, which combines 11.5oz of copper within two layers of silver totalling 2oz. The result is an incredible weight and feel to match the regal Chinese dragon detail, and a super ultra-high relief topped with silver antiqued finishing.
Upon completion, each of the limited 500 coins are then imbued with the energy of the two animals. This is done by a reputable Feng Shui master from Singapore, Master Louis Cheung, who invites the energy of the powerful dragon and the steadfast ox into the collectable, and amplify their positive traits and auspicious energy for it to attract even more of such energy. Every piece has been blessed with wishes of wealth, fortune and success for their future owners.
