Struck by The Perth Mint from 1oz of 99.99% pure silver, the silver kangaroo coin portrays a bounding kangaroo surrounded by stylised rays of sunlight. Including the inscription ‘AUSTRALIAN KANGAROO’, the reverse incorporates The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark as well as the coin’s weight, purity and 2022 year-date.
The coin incorporates an authentication feature in the form of a micro-laser engraved letter. Detectable under a magnifying glass, it is designed to make it significantly more difficult for the coin to be counterfeited.
Each coin comes presented in a protective acrylic capsule.
