Struck by The Perth Mint from 1oz of 99.99% pure silver, each coin is issued as legal tender under the Australian Currency Act 1965. No more than 3,000 of the 2018 Year Of The Dog Lunar Silver Proof Four-Coin Set will be released worldwide.
The design of each coin celebrates the Year of the Dog with four different coloured designs showcasing a chow chow, a dalmatian, a pekingese and a British bulldog. The Chinese character for ‘dog’ and The Perth Mint’s traditional ‘P’ mintmark are also included in the design. The obverse of each coin depicts the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the 2018 year-date and the monetary denomination.
Accompanied by a numbered Certificate of Authenticity, the four-coin set is housed in a contemporary black framed clear display case, allowing you to see both the reverse and obverse of each coin, and is packaged in an illustrated shipper.
