This first Disney Pure Silver Miniature celebrates Mickey Mouse’s 90th Anniversary.
Disney’s lovable and iconic mascot, Mickey Mouse, is one of the world’s oldest and most famous fictional characters. He made his debut on 18 November 1928 in the black and white animated short, Steamboat Willie.
During the early years, Mickey was drawn by noted animator Ub Iwerks, and Walt Disney himself provided Mickey’s voice until 1947. Mickey was often joined by his sweetheart, Minnie Mouse, as well as an animated gang of friends that included Donald Duck, Goofy, and Pluto.
Mickey is a cheerful and mischievous anthropomorphic mouse who starred in more than 100 cartoon shorts and became a worldwide cult figure, featuring in comic strips, feature films, video games, theme parks and numerous merchandise.
Designed by 3D master sculptor Alejandro Pereira Ezcurra, with a limited worldwide production of only 1,000 casts.
The miniature stands at approx. 9cm tall and is guaranteed minimum 150g pure silver, the sculpt is finished with an antique silver polish. The silver purity, Disney copyright and unique production number are detailed on the base.
