This foil celebrates the Chinese Lunar Year of the Dog with a Mickey Mouse image taken from Disney's Chinese Zodiac Animals collection.
The Dog is the eleventh animal in the Chinese zodiac. According to the Chinese Zodiac, people born in the Year of the Dog are loyal, responsible, clever, courageous and lively.
In addition, most of them have a good sense of humour. Their smooth-talking and resourceful personality traits ensure they are always popular with people they meet. In career and love, they are faithful, courageous, agile, smart and warm-hearted. They know how to keep secrets and inspire other people's confidence. They can be good leaders.
This striking 5g pure silver foil celebrates the Lunar Year of the Dog with the ever-popular Disney character Mickey Mouse. The engraved foil includes the Mickey Mouse image for Year of the Dog from Disney's Chinese Zodiac Animals collection, along with the Chinese character for Dog, highlighted in red. The unique number in the mintage is also printed on each foil.
The obverse of the foil features the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, and is issued under the authority of Niue. The foil is housed inside a complementary themed card which contains space for a personalised message. The certification for the foil is also printed inside.
