2016 Australian High Relief Silver Proof Three-Coin Collection

Each coin is struck by The Perth Mint from 1oz of 99.9% pure silver in proof quality and is issued as legal tender under the Australian Currency Act 1965. The Perth Mint will release no more than 1,000 of the 2016 Australian High Relief Silver Proof Three-Coin Collection.

The Australian Kangaroo coin’s reverse portrays an adult kangaroo resting on its haunches with the silhouette of another kangaroo in the background. The design includes the inscription AUSTRALIAN KANGAROO. The Australian Koala coin's reverse depicts an adult koala walking along a branch of a eucalyptus tree. The design includes the inscription AUSTRALIAN KOALA.

The Australian Kookaburra coin’s reverse features a kookaburra perched on a fence post amidst an Australian landscape. The design includes the inscription AUSTRALIAN KOOKABURRA.

The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark and the 2016 year-date also appear in the reverse design of each coin. The Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the monetary denomination are depicted on the obverse of each coin.

The three-coin collection is housed in a display case within a beautifully illustrated shipper, and is accompanied by a numbered Certificate of Authenticity.
