The Australian Government and most of the population were unwavering in their support of Britain and her allies, and a huge wave of patriotism and support for ‘King and Country’ swept across the nation.

The ANZAC Spirit 1/2oz Silver Proof Three-Coin Set comprises a trio of 1/2oz coins each struck by The Perth Mint from 99.9% pure silver in proof quality. Each coin is issued as legal tender under the Australian Currency Act 1965.

The three-coin set is part of The ANZAC Spirit 100th Anniversary Coin Series which will run over five years from 2014 to 2018. A new three-coin set will be released each year during this period each contributing to a five-year collection.
